The centre of Alvechurch itself is within walking distance of Fenn House and guests will discover plenty of excellent places to eat including pubs, restaurants and cafes.
There is also a marina and plenty of opportunity to take a boat trip along the river.
Only 10 miles away from the cathedral city of Worcester, 11 miles from Birmingham, 5 miles from Redditch and 6 miles from Bromsgrove, guests will be able to really explore the heart of England offering the opportunity to visit many local attractions including Cadbury World, the Bullring and the NEC. A little further afield but still within easy driving distance, guests will find themselves in the heart of Shakespeare Country and the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Ideal for families and groups of friends who are interested in the history of William Shakespeare, there are many attractions to visit including Shakespeare’s birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s cottage and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, which is situated on the banks of the River Avon.

Super place and well equipped - just the fridge is small for the number of guests staying and also it was not working properly so all our veg froze. It would have been nice to have ice trays to make ice - we had to buy ice from the supermarket. The satin sheets on the top double bed ensuite were not pleasant to sleep on. It would be great to have the opportunity to recycle (separate bins)

Spent a loveLy weekend at Fenn House. The house is well equipped and the owners are very welcoming. Plenty to do in the area, plenty of places to dine out. Had a lovely meal at the Weighbridge Inn just at the end of the road. All in all a very good stay. Will be going again.

Lovely owners next door on hand for any help. Lovely walk down canal for a drink. Cottage was huge and very clean and homely. Definitely recommend and go back.
