This welcoming coastal holiday cottage is the wing of the owner's home and is situated in a beautiful location, directly on the beach in a secluded area just west of the unspoilt seaside town of Bexhill-on-Sea, home of the De La Warr Pavilion.
Offering ground floor accommodation, this cosy property boasts an attractive family bedroom furnished with a king-size double bed and a single bed. This room has sea views, and a warm and spacious adjacent shower room with walk-in shower.
The open plan living area completes the accommodation at this cottage; light and fresh, this is an ideal space where couples can relax and unwind after a long day exploring all the attractions, beaches and countryside that this part of the south coast offers.
From the window you can watch the ever-changing seascape that is only a few steps from your door and on warm days enjoy meals alfresco while drinking in the sea air. But this is just the start of your holiday experience! This lovely cottage comes with use of a designated part of the owner's landscaped garden.

Herbrand House is a cosy welcoming annexe to the owner's home, with direct access to the shingle beach in Cooden Beach near Bexhill-on-Sea. The cottage is single storey, with a family room with king-size double bed and a single bed, and an adjacent shower room. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage and a patio with furniture as well as use of a designated area of the owner's garden, including steps down to the shingle beach. Herbrand House offers easy access to walking, the coast, train trips to London, or touring throughout Sussex and Kent.

Return after many years nothing has changed. Lovely welcome from Valerie and extra treats and fresh flowers and fruit bowl. No wonder she is so booked up looked for months before finding a free week. Am returning like many others. Already booked for next march.

It was a lovely house to stay in and in a perfect position especially if you love the sea. It was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Also Valerie had left so many delicious things for us . So very thoughtful and generous.
We would love to come back and stay in the Summer!

Excellent facilities in a prime position; the lovely garden backs onto the beach. The property was warm, comfortable and well-equipped. The owner, Valerie, was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. We'd love to return.
