Nestled in the historic village of Pill, on the southern bank of the River Avon in Somerset, is this fabulous, unique property.

Ideal for small families with older children or a group of friends, this delightful house offers a superb base for exploring this wonderful area of Somerset, an easy drive from Bristol.

Step into the open-plan living space, which offers a large sitting room with plenty of furniture and two sofas for you to relax and unwind on of an evening, while catching up with your favourite shows,and take advantage of the provided DVD player to enjoy a family movie night.

The dining area has seating for four and offers a wonderful place to dine together or plan the day's events.

The kitchen has been fitted with pristine, white units and sleek wooden worktops, with a range of appliances on-hand to enable you to cook delicious meals.

The first floor offers two brightly-decorated bedrooms, one double and one twin, with high-quality furnishings and lovely views across the estuary.

The family shower room completes the layout and offers quality fixtures and fittings.

Step out onto the terrace area, with plenty of furniture to enjoy the river views each morning while enjoying a cup of tea. While you're in the area, make sure you take a drive towards the thriving city of Bristol, which offers a plethora of tourist attractions. The famous steam ship, the SS Great Britain, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who also designed the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Temple Meads Station.

For a spot of culture, venture towards Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, boasting collections on archaeology, geology and fossils.

There's so much history to discover inside, you won't want to miss this! Tyntesfield is a Victorian Gothic Revival house and a Grade I listed building, set in country gardens in nearby Wraxall A little further afield are the historic cities of Bath and Wales accessible by car, bus or train.

Loved our stay at Avonside, beautiful well equipped cottage, it has everything you need for a home from home stay, the welcome pack was great, the views from the cottage are stunning, it’s in a good place for exploring too, will definitely come back.

Lovely well-equipped cottage in a quiet and stunning location with fabulous views. Very comfortable inside and the provision of garden furniture was an added bonus. Lovely dog walks straight from the door. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you. Minor suggestion - extra hooks for towels in bathrooms and in bedrooms (for dressing gowns/coats)
