It is difficult to choose among the multitude of activities offered by the Bassin Arcachon. You will enjoy all its attractions, discover the spectacular district of the Ville d'Hiver with its superb houses, its park, its belvedere with an unobstructed view on the Bassin. At noon, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the oyster ports of the Basin, the port of La Teste awaits you with its famous oyster shacks, or in Gujan, at the market of La Teste of course or in Arcachon (bring a container if you wish to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request), and then go and conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla. If you feel like going to the sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers pier to Cap Ferret, the bird island, and the famous cabanes tchanquées. Departure of the shuttles in summer on the Moulleau pier (ask for the tide times...). The arguin bank, transparent water, paradise on earth. Descent of the Leyre, in the ornithological park of Teich, choose to be accompanied by a guide, or alone with your kayak. Numerous cycle tracks will take you to Arcachon and on the other side to the Pyla dune.
