Oak Tree View — your perfect Welsh hideaway
Escape to the heart of the Welsh countryside at Oak Tree View Cabin, where stunning views meet relaxing luxury. This delightful cabin offers everything you need for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat, including your own private hot tub overlooking the rolling hills.
Set on a popular rural site, the cabin features a generous outdoor decking area with seating for alfresco dining, a cosy fire pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars, and a shared on-site play area to keep the children happily entertained.
Inside, the open-plan kitchen and living space combines style with practicality. The kitchen is well equipped with sleek light grey cabinetry, copper handles and taps, a tile-effect splashback, and under-cupboard LED lighting. It includes an integrated microwave, fridge with freezer box, two-burner gas hob with extractor fan, and a domestic-style sink—perfect for preparing meals together.
The living area has a spacious L-shaped sofa with scatter cushions and a Smart TV for those relaxing evenings. This area also transforms into an extra-wide sleeping space for up to six guests with an additional fee.
Toward the rear of the cabin, the dining space comfortably seats six around a free standing table. At night, this converts into a fold-down double bed. Above, a mezzanine level accessed by a ladder offers additional sleeping space with either a double or twin beds, depending on your needs.
The stylish bathroom includes a large shower enclosure, heated towel radiator, modern vanity unit with sink, dual flush toilet, shaver socket, and extractor fan—ideal for freshening up after your adventures.
Just beyond the cabin, you’ll find our friendly alpacas grazing nearby. Their gentle nature and curious personalities add a magical, unforgettable element to your stay.
Oak Tree View Cabin is ideally located whether you want to relax on-site or explore the local area. The charming market town of Rhayader is close by, with great places to eat and shop. You’re also just a short drive from the Elan Valley and Gilfach Nature Reserve—perfect spots for walking, wildlife watching, or simply breathing in the fresh Welsh air.
Please be advised that there is a 10pm outdoor noise curfew. This is a family-friendly property, and all guests are expected to respect the quiet hours to ensure the comfort of everyone on site.

A delightful cabin situated in the heart of the Welsh countryside has the most beautiful views, which can all be enjoyed from the comfort of your own exclusive hot tub.
Located on an ever popular site, Oak Tree View has an excellent outdoor space, with out door seating on the decking area for alfresco dining as well as a private hot tub as mentioned and also a fire pit, is there anything better then your own toasted gooey marshmallows? As well as all of this, there is on site play area which is perfect for the children to spend hours of fun!
Inside the property you will be greeted with the spacious open plan living and kitchen area which makes a stylish statement with on trend furnishings.
In the well equipped kitchen, you’ll find sleek solid kitchen doors in light grey, complemented by copper finish handles and taps, a statement tile-effect splashback and under-cupboard LED lighting. Space for the chef is optimised with a long worktop surface, while quality appliances including an integrated microwave and under counter fridge with freezer box, two-burner gas hob with extractor fan and domestic style sink bowl with drainer provide everything you need for preparing family meals together.
In the living area, a large fixed L-shape sofa with scatter cushions offers plenty of room for everyone to sit back, relax and enjoy their favourite TV series. This area can then be made into an extra wide sleeping space for night time for up to 6 guests for an additional fee.
To the rear of the lodge, the dining area has seating for up to six around a free standing table, the perfect place to dine and make even more memories! At night, this space conveniently transforms for sleeping into a wall mounted double bed and above this space is a mezzanine area with a double bed or alternately twin beds to suit, this is accessed by a ladder.
The generous wash room includes a large shower enclosure, heated electric towel radiator, contemporary dual flush WC, vanity cupboard with sink, shaver socket and extractor fan – perfect for freshening up ahead of the next adventure.
Located in an excellent area, whether you are looking for a relaxing stay at the property or to explore the locality there are lots of things to see and do! Rhayader, a quaint market town is just down the road, you will find places to eat and relax in as well as local shops to browse around. Elan Valley & Gilfach Nature Reserve are also just a stones throw away, the perfect places to explore, walk, relax and taking in the rural Welsh air.

Was very clean, the hot tube was amazing and the welcome hamper was lovely.
This is our first time coming here and we will definitely be back.
The host was lovely and replied quickly. I would 100% recommend this place if you want a peaceful and relaxing get away.
We could of stayed alot longer... the weekend went so fast.

Everything was just perfect 👌
We had 1 issue with clean towels but the owners swiftly fixed this the upgraded us an hour later to an even better cabin happy days so thankyou
