CasaCondo@Aniello is located along the Miglio d’Oro (Golden Mile) — a stunning coastline that has fascinated civilizations for over 3,000 years, from the Osci and Etruscans to Roman elites.
In 1738, King Charles III chose nearby Portici for his summer royal palace. So enchanted by the air, wine, food, and views, he turned it into his main residence. As villas sprang up around him, workers unearthed the incredibly preserved ruins of Herculaneum, prompting the first organized excavations — and later, those of Pompeii.
Along just one mile, you’ll find incredible examples of Neoclassical architecture by artists like Vanvitelli, Fuga, and Gioffredo — from the ruins of Herculaneum to the Royal Palace of Portici.

Stopped in Torre del Greco on way to see family and on route to Sorrento. Never been but great place and Giuseppe’s place was excellent, spacious, clean, secure and everything you would need. Great location, close to the station, national park and good eating places.
