Located near Viechtach, the Waldlerhaus is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bavarian Forest. From the house, well-marked hiking and cycling trails lead through forests and rolling hills. In winter, you find cross-country tracks, sledding slopes and ski areas close by. The nearby resort of Sankt Englmar offers activities for families, hikers and winter sports fans alike. In Viechtach, you can shop, swim in the indoor pool or discover cultural events. Day trips take you to the Großer Arber, scenic lakes or charming Bavarian villages.
