In the heart of the village of Époisses, famous for its cheese and near the castle, the "Une Douce Parenthèse" gîte is a village house on several levels, semi-detached on one side.
On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a living/dining room (Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine), TV, a separate toilet with washbasin, and one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and en-suite shower room with toilet.
On the first floor: a large landing with a desk leading to three bedrooms: one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and en-suite shower room, one bedroom with a single bed (90 cm), and one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm).
There is also a shower room with toilet.
On the second floor: a children's play area (books, games console, etc.) with a sofa, and a dormitory-style bedroom with three single beds (90 cm).
Wi-Fi.
A travel cot and high chair are available on request.
Free public parking is available in a small square in front of the gîte.
In Époisses: a castle whose history dates back to the 6th century, a cheese factory, a swimming pool open in summer, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket.
Nearby tourist attractions include the medieval villages of Semur-en-Auxois and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fontenay Abbey, and the MuséoParc Alésia.
Numerous hiking trails are located in the surrounding area.
Pont Lake is also nearby.
