Live Like a Local in Amantea's Iconic Gradinata San Bernardino
Located on a beautiful cobblestone road, just steps from the city center and the major junction of Amantea, where Via Margherita meets Corso Vittorio Emanuele — where boutique shopping, cafés, and restaurants all come together.
The staircase at the end of the street, from which our address takes its name (Gradinata San Bernardino), leads to the historic Church of San Bernardino da Siena, consecrated in 1436 and recognized as a National Monument. The same staircase also connects you to Amantea's renowned Historic Center.
The Space: This building dates back several centuries, as evidenced by the thick stone and cement construction, yet has been extensively and fully renovated with a modern, polished interior. Tastefully decorated, the spacious ground-floor studio (35 sq. m) features a full-size matrimonial bed, nightstands with lamps, a large armoire, a fridge, storage for plates and utensils, and a Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee maker.
The ground floor offers plenty of room to relax and unwind — watch Netflix on the large pullout sofa, which also converts into a comfortable full-size matrimonial bed. While the studio does not include a stovetop kitchen, it is equipped with a table, benches, kitchenware, and a fridge — everything you need to enjoy Amantea's excellent and affordable takeaway meals at home.
Good to Know: The apartment is close to the beach and city center (approximately 500 m), though the walk does include several flights of steps, as is common with properties in Italy's historic centers. This property is not wheelchair accessible.
Free street parking is available nearby; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.
